Nitro Consult is an explosives consulting company and associated service provider with operations throughout Sweden. The company was founded in 1969 and has roots in the Swedish company Nitro Nobel, i.e. Nitro Consult originates from the rock blasting expertise founded by Alfred Nobel. Nitro is strong in the national market but is also involved in projects abroad. The company currently has around 70 specialists who cover all aspects of blasting in construction, mining and demolition. The company has eleven offices around Sweden with headquarters in Stockholm. Our service areas include inspection, measurements (of e.g. vibrations, noise, air shock waves, precision balancing), risk analysis, blasting technology, rock design, vibration isolation, construction management, damage investigation, third party management. We also provide an in-house developed measurement portal where we and the customer check and follow the progress of the project.

Nitro Consult is owned by Storskogen, a company group that since 2012 has been acquiring and operating well-managed and profitable small and medium-sized companies with a leading position in their market. Storskogen is divided into three business areas and consists of approx. 100 business units with approx. 7,000 employees - primarily in Sweden, but also in the other Nordic countries, Germany, Switzerland and Great Britain.
